Before “I do”

Talk about the life
you want to share.

Where you'll live. Whether you want children. How you'll build a home, and when you're ready for marriage.

Civvy is being built for people who are ready to have those conversations. We'll introduce US citizens and non-US citizens whose plans and expectations align, with space to discover a genuine connection.

Different beginnings.
A shared intention.

From shared plans to a first hello

Start with intention.
Make room for love.

At most one introduction a day.
Chosen with both of you in mind.

01

Put your plans on the table.

Share your marriage timeline and hopes for family and home. Choose which preferences matter and which are essential.

02

Meet with marriage in mind.

Receive a reciprocal introduction when your timelines overlap and both people's requirements are met.

03

Choose the next step together.

You each have 24 hours to express interest. A conversation opens only when you both want to connect.

Some days, there may be no introduction. The things you say are essential will stay essential.

Good to know

A few things
you might be
wondering.

Who is Civvy for?

Adults 18 and older who live in the United States and are looking for a genuine, marriage-minded relationship. Civvy is being designed for all orientations and gender identities, with nationwide registration planned.

What does “different roots” mean?

Civvy's planned introductions pair people who identify as US citizens with people who identify as non-US citizens, based on mutual preferences and practical compatibility.

Citizenship will be self-reported and unverified. Civvy is about genuine relationships; it doesn't offer immigration advice or promise immigration outcomes.

Does “marriage-minded” mean rushing?

Your timeline is yours. In the planned app, you'll choose a target marriage date and how flexible you are. Introductions will depend on overlapping timelines, so you can meet someone whose plans fit yours and take time to explore the connection.

How is an introduction chosen?

The planned experience starts with overlapping marriage timelines and requirements that work for both people. Practical factors include children, location, household finances, and living arrangements. You'll be able to see why your plans align.

An introduction will never require automatically relaxing your dealbreakers. If no eligible person is available, there will be no introduction that day.

Can I use the app right now?

We're in development. The waitlist is for launch updates, not an app account or a guaranteed invitation. We don't have a launch date to share yet. The app is planned to be free at launch.
